Moving to Arbor for School Meals - We’re excited to announce that we are switching our meal payment system to Arbor starting this September! What you need to do - Please keep topping up: Please ensure your child has enough credit on Scopay for the rest of the Summer term. (This is only applicable for Years 3 to 6 as Years R, 1 and 2 are eligible for Universal Free School Meals). Watch your balance - to help our admin team avoid a mountain of manual refunds, please try not to overfund your account. Aim to have a near-zero balance by the end of July!
Toys/Figures - A gentle reminder that children should not bring toys, figures, or similar items into school. While we understand the excitement of wanting to share special belongings with friends, these items can easily become lost or damaged. Additionally, children may sometimes trade items and later feel upset or regretful about their choices, leading to unnecessary disagreements. To help maintain a calm and focused learning environment, we kindly ask that all personal toys be kept at home. Thank you for your understanding and support.
Lunchtime Supervisor vacancy - if you would like to join our Greenbank lunchtime team, please find the vacancy details here
New School Crossing Patrol Officer: We are recruiting an SCPO for Winklebury Way. For more information regarding the vacancy, please visit - Job Vacancy

Summer is here and so are our first exciting events....
CASTLE HILL PENNY DRIVE starts tomorrow, Friday 1st May!
Each class has a Mario-themed car to race along the track in reception. Bring in as many coins as you can to give your car the most fuel! Every child is asked to bring in any leftover coins - we don't mean to raid their piggy banks or savings! But all those little coins at the bottom of a bag or left over in your purse can be used to fuel their class car! Prizes will be awarded to the winning car and the car with the most coins overall!
This competition runs from tomorrow until the end of the School Fayre on Thursday, 21st May. Each child will be given a little plastic bag to safely bring coins to their teacher, or we'd be happy to accept coins in an envelope (with name and class on) into our letterbox by reception.
FROZEN FRIDAYS!!
The Friends will be selling ice pops on the No-Mow after school every Friday from 1st May onwards. Ice pops cost 50p each (cash or card payments over £1).
MUFTI DAY
Friday 15th May is a mufti day, and all children are invited to wear non-school uniform. If you are able, the Friends would really appreciate donations towards the Summer Fayre. This year, we are asking for the following. Please note that these options have been chosen to allow either new purchases or the re-purposing of something you already have (in good, sellable condition). Many thanks for all your kind donations.
YEAR R - Sweets (no nut products please)
YEAR 1 - Keyrings & Fidgets
YEAR 2 - Stationery (colouring books, pens, gel pens, etc)

YEAR 4 - Teddies

We will have all your favourites: inflatable, water slide, games, face painting, toy & sweet tombola, bottle tombola, external craft stalls, cake stalls, raffle, and soooo much more! We are hoping you will all come and support our school, and if you've not already, please let us know if you can help run a stall for some or all of the fayre!
